Things to keep in mind while you are reading... 1. What is the point of view of this short story? 2. What would your reaction be to having to adapt to the character's environment? 3. What is the butterfly effect?
Things you need to know first… What is a complex character and who is it within the short story? How did this character develop and grow/change throughout the course of the story? Did his/her interactions with other characters change? How so? Did this character help to advance the plot? How so? Did this character help to develop the theme? How so?
Requirements 1. Explain all parts of the standard (listed above) 2. Include concrete examples/citations from the story to support your explanations 3. Be uploaded in Google Classroom (not emailed or “shared”) if done electronically 4. Demonstrate all aspects of the learning standard
